Olympic-sized Self Confidence

My favorite winter Olympic sport is short track speed skating.  It’s dangerous, exciting, anything-can-happen fast action. This 27 year old, short track speed skater (pictured below) is one of my favorites.  He has a personality that makes him likable by the press and the public and exudes confidence that exceeds his years.   He befriends other athletes from other sports, won a dancing competition, and has used his influence to raise money for lots of different organizations.  Not to mention he’s just a little cutie. 😉

So, which came first, the chicken or the egg?  Does his self confidence make him an Olympic medalist and talented athlete, OR does the talented athlete become self confident? He’s a champion in a (previously) little known sport, so it’s not the sport that’s given him a name.
